Glamis is located
approximately 20 minutes away from the town of Brawley,
CA.
The Anza-Borrego desert is within 30 minutes and
they have camp sites, areas for hiking, mountain biking
and limited off - roading.
There are two "developed" campgrounds, Gecko
and Roadrunner. They are located off of Gecko Road. The
Cahuilla Ranger Station is located on the corner of
Highway 78 and Gecko Road. It's open on weekends October
through April and during the week during Thanksgiving
and News Years Eve.
